Turbine Wash Water RO Watermakers from ITT C'treat convert brackish water into high quality water used to meet the demand for turbine wash water used in many offshore drilling and production applications and shipboard turbines. Over extended periods of operation, residual lubrication oil and hydrocarbon combustion by-product deposits can form within gas turbines. Salt laden intake air can also lead to salt deposits. The wash water produced from an ITT C'treat Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) watermaker, to periodically wash the turbine's internal parts using a solution of freshwater and cleaning compounds, is used to maintain operating efficiency and to prevent corrosion.
