A Potable Water Pressure Set is used to distribute water from ITT C'treat's offshore watermakers. Designed with the rigors of offshore application in mind, ITT C'treat's Potable Water Pressure Sets are built to stringent standards demanded by the offshore industry.

ITT C'treat offers both standard and customized Potable Water Pressure Set systems.

Potable Water Pressure Set systems provide a range of water flow typically up to 20 times the fresh water production rate. Each ITT C'treat Potable Water Pressure Set system can be configured for the flow volume and pressure as needed by the application.

ITT C'treat Potable Water Pressure Set systems are designed to deliver the correct amount of water at the optimum pressure for normal and peak demand periods. The system uses two ''lead/lag'' pumps to insure the necessary capacity. Only a single pump is used during a low demand period which will keep the water tank charged with sufficient pressure. As the demand increases, and one (''lead'') pump cannot maintain the water flow and pressure, then the other (''lag'') pump will turn on.
